IPAG - Our strenght is you strenght

The Irish Pub Association of Germany was launched as a direct response to Diageo’s restructuring in Germany, which would have led to Guinness prices being increased throughout Germany. Diageo, after pressure was applied by the IPAG agreed to a price freeze on Guinness until 2012 in the German market despite price increases elsewhere.

At the recent meeting of the National executive the following goals were set out which the IPAG would like to achieve in tandem with its members.

1. To connect Irish Pub Owners in a nationwide network through everything from website forums through to meetings and social events in your Region
2. To Lobby as a collective body for fairer prices and conditions with drinks companies such as Radeberger, Heineken or Spirits and Cider companies and others. Or to negotiate special rates for members with bodies such as Dehoga, Gema, Sky Deutschland etc.
3. To facilitate the exchange of helpful information throughout the membership

All people who are running existing Irish Pubs in Germany are entitled to join the IPAG.
